| Bidmonkey |
| Your BidMonkey is specifically set up by you to bid on your behalf when you cannot follow an auction online. You can define number of bids, and period in which those bids are placed to increase your chances of winning! BidMonkey is very smart, it will wait for the time to just reach 00:00:00 and place bids for you. The BidMonkey will also bid automatically for you within your price range. |

| Winning Tips! |
Check out the Auction
Take the time to find out more about the auction you're bidding on. Check out the timer on the auction, previously ended auction for the same product or category. Study the way auction is going and then place your bid with confidence. | | Use your BidMonkey to maximize your chances
Your BidMonkey is very clever, by setting it at the right intervals, it can throw off other bidders by continuously outdoing their bids. Other bidders may leave their BidMonkey to finish their auction not realizing that their bids could eventually run out and they’re not available to place more bids. This can give you the perfect opportunity to sneak in a single bid and win the auction if a BidMonkey has just finished. Most of the time bidders will use round values to set their BidMonkey too, so keep in mind to place a bid at the right intervals.
Make your BidMonkey smarter
Avoid setting your BidMonkey to a round numbered value. That’s what many bidders do and is easily beatable. For example, set your ‘Bid To’ value to 1.236 instead of 1.00.
Set a maximum number of bids to place
After you've figured out a fair price for the auction item, set the maximum bids you'll place and stick to it. If you don't, you may get swept up in the heat of the bidding moment and end up paying higher than the retail price of the product.
Bid Strategically
Bidding history will show the details and times of the last ten bids placed. Watch for time intervals carefully, maybe you will find a pattern and get the timing right to snap up a bargain!
Bid at a quiet time of the day
Try to find times in the day where there are fewer bidders online, maybe dinner time, etc. You are more likely to win a bargain when less people are competing with you!
Record every step of the purchase or sale
Print out all details of every transaction, including the original product description and the bidding history. Also print all email correspondence.

Educate Yourself
Start slowly. Carefully read the auction site's rules and FAQ pages making a bid. Spend some time on a particular auction to get the lay of the land. When you're ready, start by bidding on relatively inexpensive items. This reduces your risk while you learn how online auctions really play out.
Place your bids late in the countdown
Keep an eye on the timer and try to place your bid within the last 10 seconds. When the timer is at this point, you know the auction will close soon, therefore, there is less chance of another bid being placed by someone else.
Check out the AuctionCheaper products attract fewer people
An expensive item on auction will most likely be very popular, attracting a lot of bidders. If you choose to bid on a cheaper item, there will be less competition, hence increasing your chances of winning. What a great way to get started too!
